So far I have been enjoying the book Animal Farm. I like the characters and I like how there is some conflict because it would be a very boring book if there was no conflict. The part that I enjoyed most so far was the Battle of Cowshed. I think it's pretty obvious that there will be animals that are going to die and the pigs are going to keep stretching the rules and keep taking over and lying to the animals on the farm. I don't really get the whole Snowball thing because if he were still alive you would think that he would come back to the farm, it seems weird how if he is alive he doesn't come back.
I think that some of the characters should take charge more like they shouldn't let the pigs control them. I think that some of the animals are worried that they will get hurt or Napoleon will get mad if they speak out. Boxer should not have to get up an hour earlier than all the other animals just to please Napoleon. In my opinion, Napoleon is using his power in the wrong way, he shouldn't be able to break all the rules that he made up in the first place.

Over Break
The first three days that it snowed (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) my sister and I enjoyed the snow. We went downhill skiing in the Christmas tree farm the is right behind our house. We had a blast because the Christmas tree farm has enough hills to downhill ski. The next day (Saturday) my sister, my dad, and me left for California, we got up at five to try to miss the storm that was predicted that day. We left our mom home because sadly she had just had oral surgery and couldn't travel. There was little trouble when we got to Portland but nothing major but after that we had no snow problems. Our first destination was Sacramento our home town and we arrived around five thirty to greet our friends who we would be staying with. The next few days were spent shopping, bowling, reading, and watching movies. Then on Tuesday afternoon we packed up out bags and headed to Fort Bragg where my grandparents live. After a four hour drive we finally arrived and headed off to my Grandma's house where we would be staying. We enjoyed a quiet dinner and then watched TV and went to bed. The next day was Christmas but we didn't do anything except for watching my Grandma's good friend Tom open all of his presents from his parents. The next day we got up at four am because we were so anxious to get home and left Fort Bragg. We reached Olympia at around five and were so glad to be home. We missed the big snow storm but there was still so much snow when we returned. The next week of break we all hung out and cleaned stalls at our barn and other horse stuff. There is a point when you have had enough of vacation and you just want to go home.
