In a book that I read called the Mediator by Meg Cabot, the main character, Suze could see ghosts but also once during the story she had premonition. When she first met this ghost that showed up in her bedroom she had a premonition that something very bad was going to happen to her lat sat night. A few night's later she went to her school late at night that at the time was under construction from another ghost that was messing up the whole school. So, once she went to the school she went looking for the ghost that was messing up the school. The ghost found her first and instead being polite the ghost tried to kill Suze. Eventually, she got out of the school but she was all bruised and bleeding everywhere.
Suze had a premonition that something very bad was going to happen to her and she didn't do anything about it because she didn't think it meant anything. Instead of listening to her gut, Suze went to the school to destroy the ghost who was causing all the problems and she almost got killed. Suze didn't trust her gut because she was sure that she was wrong but yet if she had trusted her gut she wouldn't have had any of that happen to her. I think if I had been in Suze's place I would have trusted my gut because first of all I would never go to a school in the middle of the night especially when a ghost is staying there at the time. I think after Suze realized that if she had trusted her gut she trusted herself more and if she were to have another premonition she would trust her gut.

ooooo that is scary. I think i agree with you thou, i would have trusted my gut... or as i call it, my little psychic friend Fredric... and i would not go to a haunted school to destroy a goust. The goust can have the school and haunt it all it wants. she must have really liked her school to put her life on the line for it. i like olympia high school but i would not die for it. Also what was her plan to get rid of the goust... i thought you would not kill the dead. Well if Fredric told me to stay away from a goust that is a little crazy and destroying the school, i would listen to him. Just saying.
